Last Saturday night the Payment Station outside the lift to this carpark was "Closed", an adjacent sign advising customers to pay using bankcard at the boom gate.

I was most unimpressed to find I was charged a "Processing fee" in addition to the cost of parking. What's more, I had no choice but to use this system, thus being penalized for the Wilson Parking machine - which DOES have a choice of paying by card OR cash - being "Closed".

Is this yet another way for this company to fill their coffers??? Surely, charging extra for an enforced use of bankcard should be illegal?

This car park consistently states parking available despite a lack of public spaces. This is very frustrating for patrons of the Electric Palace cinema above. It would be very much appreciated if the management could utilise the spaces available sign at the entrance. This would avoid potential customers queueing to get in only to find it is full up! Until this is implemented I suggest boycotting Wilson
